BIFORA smart farming platform – agro weather forecast, field sensors and satellite crop analysis

Everything you need for safer decisions - without expensive hardware and complex setup

Most systems offer only sensors, only satellite, or only forecast. Bifora combines everything into one platform and turns it into a concrete action for your crop.

Accurate Weather and Agro Forecast + radar

Our hybrid weather model (~3 km, up to 16 days) combines multiple sources and AI/ML. The model shows what to expect, while radar shows where rainfall is now and which way it is moving — with satellite insight into the broader picture.

Satellite insight into field condition

NDVI, NDRE, water stress, biomass – helps you spot problem zones earlier, without walking every field.

Solar-powered sensor node

Monitors air temperature, soil moisture and humidity. Runs autonomously and supports irrigation control.

AgroVision AI camera

Daily visual crop analysis powered by AI. Detects early signs of disease, stress and development changes.

Work diary

Log treatments, irrigation, nutrition and tillage in one place. Get a work history, better traceability and the ability to compare system recommendations with what was actually done and achieved.

Daily report and agro chat

Every day you get a clear agronomic report: overview, risks and concrete recommendations. Plus an AI agro chat that knows your field history – ask in natural language what is happening and what to do next.

From raw data to a clear recommendation in 4 steps

Bifora does not leave you interpreting charts. The system automatically combines all sources and generates a clear daily agronomic report.

Step 01

Collection

Satellite images, weather model and sensor data are collected automatically for your field every day.

Step 02

Analysis

The AI engine analyzes all sources together - forecast, soil condition, vegetation indices and visual crop inspection.

Step 03

Report

Every day you get a clear agronomic report: crop status, risks and recommendations.

Step 04

Action

Concrete recommendations for irrigation, protection and nutrition - plus an AI assistant for all additional field questions.

One platform instead of four separate tools

Competing systems force you to use one tool for forecast, another for satellite and a third for sensors. Bifora unifies all of it into one clear recommendation.

Result: less time spent analyzing data, more time for real decisions in the field.

Sensor in the field

Soil moisture, temperature, humidity - data every 15 minutes.

AI crop analysis

AgroVision helps you spot signs of disease and stress earlier.

Install once - the system works on its own, 365 days a year

Solar power

SensorNod and AgroVision camera run fully autonomously on solar power, even in the most remote fields.

Smart irrigation

Based on soil moisture, evapotranspiration, weather forecast and radar rainfall, the system recommends when and how much to irrigate — or when to delay watering due to expected rain.

Early warning

Frost risk, heat stress, disease - Bifora warns you in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions about Smart Farming & Weather Forecast

Everything you need to know about hybrid forecasting, precipitation radar, solar sensors and getting started.

BIFORA is an integrated AI smart farming platform combining high-resolution agro weather forecasting (3 km, up to 16 days) with precipitation radar, satellite NDVI crop analysis, solar field sensors, digital Work Diary, AgroVision camera and an AI agronomist.

BIFORA uses its proprietary hybrid weather model (~3 km resolution) for up to 16 days forecast, integrated with real-time precipitation radar. The model predicts atmospheric dynamics, while the radar detects exact rainfall location and cloud paths over your field.

You can access the interactive weather map with radar layers directly at meteo.bifora.net or via the “Weather map” link in the site footer.

By combining soil moisture sensor readings, evapotranspiration, radar rainfall and agro forecast, BIFORA recommends when and how much to irrigate, so you water only when needed, and when to postpone spraying due to rain or wind.

The Work Diary records all agrotechnical operations (treatments, irrigation, fertilization, sowing and tillage). It gives full production traceability and enables the AI agronomist to analyze results and optimize future crop advice.

Yes. The Basic plan offers full digital insight without hardware: hybrid agro forecast with radar, satellite crop analysis, Work Diary, daily agronomic report and AI agro chat. Plans start from 20 EUR/month.

The SensorNod is mounted on a 2 m pole, and the soil sensors are installed at a depth of 25 cm. The SensorNod can also control your irrigation system – via a relay output or a digital connection.
